She also incorporates clinical psychoeducation into therapy when appropriate and relevant to client need. Topics may include trauma/PTSD, domestic violence/abusive relationships, healthy boundaries, behavioral skill management, and the impact of psychological acculturation on mental health.

Claire is a member of the American Counseling Association and is licensed to practice counseling in both Michigan and Illinois. She currently provides individual therapy to adults via telehealth at Oliver Lee Consulting

Emily (Em) provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals living with chronic pain, and those who identify as neurodivergent.

Her clinical approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns, managing emotional responses, and developing practical coping skills. Whether she and the client are working on managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, processing identity exploration, or building executive functioning skills, she collaborates closely with clients to set meaningful goals and track progress over time.

She welcomes clients of all backgrounds and am especially passionate about supporting those who have felt marginalized, misunderstood, or overlooked in traditional care settings. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and clinically sound support that helps each client move toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and well-being.
